Senior Management Accountant - Hull - £55,000 - £60,000 & Bonus A dynamic, PE backed business with incredible growth in the last 12 months is looking for a proactive and driven Senior Management Accountant to join this entrepreneurial team. This role offers the right person an exceptional opportunity to support in the delivery of the group accounting and reporting functions. This is a pivotal role in the finance team and wider business. The successful candidate will be involved with tax, treasury, analytical, financial compliance, business partnering activities and managing an assistant accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to navigate this business through an exciting, sustained period of growth.   Benefits include: 26 days & BH 5% employer contribution pension Life assurance Private health insurance Hybrid and flexible working Discretionary bonus Career developmentThe responsibilities of the Senior Management Accountant will include: Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including group consolidated accounts Balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring compliance with IFRS accounting standards Provide accurate analytical and financial reporting Prepare statutory accounts and ensure strong financial controls are in place Support in the integration of newly acquired entities into the group and wind up of smaller legal entities as they are integrated into the group Liaise with and support the tax and treasury functions for the group Support projects, including capital and liquidity planning activities Managing an assistant management accountantThe Ideal Candidate: Sound experience in a similar role within a blue chip business Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or CIMA) Stakeholder management including ability to influence to ensure optimal outcomes Understanding of IFRS and UK/US Gaap accounting standards Exposure managing treasury and ideally knowledge of hedging Self motivated, inquisitive mind, desire to learn and achieve goals  If you are interested in finding out about this exciting Senior Management Accountant opportunity, please click ‘apply now’.
